Turkish Journal of Sport Management and Recreation (SMR) accepts research and critical review articles.
Research Articles
Research articles are evaluated using qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methodology and single-subject methodology, and fall within the following areas
- Recreation: Leadership and Volunteering, Recreation Management, Sports Tourism, Therapeutic and Commercial Recreation
- Sport Management: Event Management and Organization, Sports Economics, Sports Law, Sport Business Management, Sports Marketing, Sport Policy and Administration
Submissions in these areas should be highly scientific papers. SMR is looking for submissions that combine feasible proposals with quality applications. A strong link between theory, policy and practice is expected in the submitted papers.
Critical Review Articles
Critical review articles should link theory and practice and produce informative resources for educators, practitioners and policy makers. SMR seeks submissions that critically combine viable proposals with quality practices. It is expected that theory, policy and practice will be tightly linked in the submitted papers.
