Aims & Scope

AIM
The Turkish Journal of Sport Management and Recreation (SMR) aims to serve as an important resource for developing all aspects of sport by bringing together topics that contribute to the educational, practical, and theoretical fields of sport:

1) To publish articles covering a wide range of topics,

2) To publish quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and single-subject methodology research and critical review articles that will contribute to the field theoretically, combining theory and practice,

3) To publish original research related to "Recreation: Leadership and Volunteering in Recreation, Recreation Management, Sports Tourism, Therapeutic and Commercial Recreation. Sports Management: Event Management and Organization, Sports Economics, Sports Law, Sports Business, Sports Marketing, Sports Management and Policy,"

4) To bring together international authors and readers from various disciplines and professional fields for a better understanding of fundamental issues related to sports.

SCOPE
We welcome highly scientific articles using qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and single-subject methodologies in international sports research, focusing on topics related to Recreation and Sports Management.

We particularly welcome submissions that link applicable recommendations to quality practices. Submitted articles are expected to demonstrate a strong connection between theory, policy, and practice.
