Aims & Scope
AIM
The Turkish Journal of Physical Education and Sports Teaching (PEDUS) aims to serve as an important resource for developing all aspects of sports by bringing together topics that contribute to the educational, practical, and theoretical fields of sports:
1) To publish articles covering a wide range of topics,
2) To publish quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and single-subject methodology research and critical review articles that will contribute to the field theoretically, combining theory and practice,
3) Publishing original research from an international perspective on "Physical Education and Sports Education: Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy, Play in Physical Education and Sports, Physical Fitness, Movement and Skill Teaching, Adapted Physical Education and Sports Education. Psychosocial Areas in Sports: Exercise and Sports Psychology, Traditional Turkish Sports, Sports Philosophy and Ethics, Sports Sociology, Sports History,"
4) To bring together international authors and readers from various disciplines and professional fields for a better understanding of fundamental issues related to sports.
SCOPE
We welcome highly scientific articles using qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and single-subject methodologies in international sports research, focusing on topics related to Physical Education and Sports Education and Psychosocial Areas in Sports.
We particularly welcome submissions that link applicable recommendations to quality practices. Submitted articles are expected to demonstrate a strong connection between theory, policy, and practice.
